Safe Harbor: Due to the international nature of our business, we have developed global data practices designed to assure your personal data is appropriately protected. Our privacy practices are self-certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce Safe Harbor Program. Although our primary data centers are located in the U.S.A., we will transfer data provided by customers to the appropriate office, distributor, partner or consultant needed to deliver the service or information requested by the customer. To efficiently provide timely and cost-effective service, data provided to us may be made available to our authorized support staff locate across the global who require access to this data for business purposes.

1. Types of Data Collection
We collect data about our users by the following methods:
- Automated means, like communications protocols and cookies.
- Registration screens and online forms.
- Sales inquiries and transactions.
- Customer communications.
- Off-line communications and interactions.
- Third party sources of information, like opt-in lists.
Depending upon the method of collection and use, the data collected may include information about the user from forms, registrations and transactions (like name, title, address, company, phone number and email address), financial/transaction information (like credit card and payment information), information about the use of our Web sites (like electronic communications protocols, Web pages visited and cookies) and user preferences (including product requirements, areas of industry interest, newsletters, community choices and other information managed from the customer profile created when registering an account on the Site).
Electronic Communications Protocols and Cookies:
We may receive data from you as part of the communication connection itself, that is, the standard electronic greeting between your computer and our servers. This information often consists of network routing (where you came from), equipment information (browser type), date and time. Our server may then also query your computer for saved "cookies" previously set by the Site to facilitate your login or other site navigation procedures. A "cookie" is a small piece of information sent by a Web server to store on a Web browser so it can later be read back from that browser.
Although we do not offer an opt-out option on the Site for cookies, most Web browsers do provide you with information and control over cookies. You can set your Web browser to alert when a cookie is being used. You can also get information on the duration of the cookie and what server your data is being returned to. You may then choose to accept or reject the cookie. Additionally, you can set your browser to refuse all cookies, or to only accept cookies returned to the originating servers. Users can generally disable the cookie feature on their browser without affecting their ability to use the Site, except in some cases where cookies are essential security features for completing online transactions.
Embedded URLs: To optimize the usefulness of resources on the Site, we may also use a tracking technique with embedded URLs that allow use of the Site without cookies. Embedded URLs are plain text or encoded extensions to the URL that appears in the browser address or location toolbar. This technology allows limited information to follow you as you navigate the site, but is not identified to personal data and is not used beyond the session. Although this increases your ability to surf the Site, it does not replace the functionality or streamlining of cookies and may limit your use of many convenience features offered by the Site.
Embedded Pixels: To provide users with the most relevant Web site content and marketing materials, we may also use embedded pixel technologies to help track site usage and the responsiveness of certain marketing campaigns. These technologies are used on selected pages on the Site to identify unique user visits rather than aggregate hits. When informaion collected by these technologies is associated with cookies, it may offer insight about how the Site is used by our registered users. We use this information to improve the navigation and content on the Site, and to improve page response rates. When used in emails, these technologies may indicate when the email is opened.

2. The Data We Collect and How We Use It
We collect data from users of the Site for the following purposes:
As a result of your Site navigation. We may collect data to help personalize Web site content and to enable more relevant and user-friendly navigation.
As a result of creating a user account and filling out forms. We may use data provided by you during these processes to target future marketing communications that better meet your needs and requirements, personalize Site content and enable more relevant and user-friendly navigation.
As a result of your joining an online community, like our Partners Network. We may collect information during the registration process to provide relevant product alerts and updates about new product releases, prices, terms, special offers and associated marketing campaigns. This data may be sent to us when a new community member signs up for the relevant program or online account.
As a result of your inquiry or request for information. We may collect data as a result of your inquiry, registration for newsletters, response to marketing campaigns and other such activities that may be used to respond to your inquiry, provide information requested and target future marketing communications.
As a result of product download. Product downloads rely on the contact information collected during the registration process. More information may be collected from users about their experiences during the download and use of programs, regardless of trial licenses or purchase status. We may use this information to confirm order information and for follow-up, marketing, and sales purposes.
As a result of your engagement in transactions or communications. We may collect and store information about the transaction history. Most of the data collected under this category are business contact information. We may need to share some of this data (address, payment) with delivery services, credit card clearing houses and other similarly situated third parties used to complete the transaction.
As a result of your participation in co-sponsored events or events hosted by partners. We occasionally co-sponsor events with partners, or present at partner events that offer services which may benefit our users. To help assure respect of your data, we maintain control of the data we collect at these events and require that use of the data by these partners is limited to that which is expressly relevant to your profile.
As a result of your participation in joint sales or joint product promotions. We may engage with our partners in joint events or by providing bundled products. Such promotions will always reference the partners involved. We and our partner(s) will both have access to that information. We recommend you review the privacy policies of these partners to address your particular needs and concerns.
As a result of referral/"tell a friend" functions. When a user elects to inform a friend about the Site, we ask for that friend's name and email address, and then automatically send that friend a one-time email invitation to visit the Site. We use this data only for sending this one-time email and for tracking the success of our referral program. The friend may contact us to be removed from the referral program.
As a result of your registration for/attendance at a Paliwoda Group conference or event. We may contact registered customers or users of the Site before a scheduled conference or event to inquire whether any meetings, special demonstrations or other customer facilitation may be provided. This inquiry is separate from any contact required to confirm payment or to provide logistical information and updates about the conference. We may also follow-up with attendees after the event to inquire about additional required information. We will share this information only with our designated partners or conference sponsors, and will not released it to other third parties. To help assure respect of your data, we maintain control of the data we collect at these events and require that use of the data by these partners is limited to that which is expressly relevant to your profile. As a result of your participation in interactive discussions and public forums. Parts of the Site permit you to participate in interactive discussions. Some of these forums are moderated; all are subject to access for technical reasons. We do not control content posted by users as some may serve as public discussion forums. As in any interactive forum open to many users, you should carefully consider whether and what information you submit.
As a result of your use of Outsourcing, Support or Consulting Services ("Hosted Services"). Some of our Hosted Services customers may provide us with incidental access to data about their employees, vendors, partners or customers. By the nature of our Hosted Services relationship, we may access or process some of this information, but do not control the data collection or use practices related to this information. We merely provide the relevant hosting or application management and support services required by the engagement. We make no independent use of the data outside of what is needed to provide the hosting service, applications management and support, or to complete specific tasks requested by the customer. Please review our hosted services policy for a complete statement about our privacy practices related to hosted services.
To address performance and fix issues. We may on occasion release patches and other fixes to our software, including security patches that address newly discovered vulnerabilities. We may communicate the availability of these patches or fixes to registered owners of our software, and other users or developers.
As a result of legal requirements. We may be required to provide data to comply with legally mandated reporting, disclosure or other legal process requirements.
3. Customization, Preferences and Opt-Out
Registering an online profile at the Site allows visitors to opt into (or out of) communities, and enables them to control their preferences for electronic information delivery.
Communications Choices. We recognize that users may not wish to be contacted about new or related products. By registering an online profile at the Site you may opt out of some, or all, email marketing campaigns informed by your use of the Site. These choices are established and may be modified via your online registration profile. A link to this profile will be available in marketing emails. You can return to the registration profile at any time to change your elections or modify your profile, or you can email our general unsubscribe automated link. If you experience any problems with these opt-out mechanisms, please email us with "opt-out" indicated in the subject line, and specify in the body of the message the problem you have encountered.
Please note that some non-marketing communications are not subject to general opt-out. These include communications about product download; communications about sales transactions; information about software updates, patches and fixes; disclosures to comply with legal requirements; and communications with partners about product alerts and updates.
Information-Sharing Choices. We only share data with selected companies after providing users the option to opt-into the sharing. There are limitations to opting out in the case of (1) joint sale or joint events where the data is transmitted both to us and the other party at the same time; (2) where the customer has requested follow-up which involves our partners; and (3) where third parties are required to complete the transaction, including delivery and credit card clearing services. There may also be cases where data is shared with third parties as a necessary function of the service, for example, posting comments to a bulletin board or posting an opportunity to an exchange, where data is available to all users. Other examples include attendance at educational or conference events where third parties and our partners may be providing services or sponsorship of a conference, seminar, training session, or event.
Third Party Permission-Based Lists. We may, on occasion, use a third party permission-based list to send communications about our products and services. These lists are maintained by third parties whose users have consented to receive emails from other companies, like The Paliwoda Group. We do not have access to the names and contact information on these lists; the third party that has the direct relationship with these users maintains the list and the opt-outs, removes, and unsubscribes. We require the list owners to identify themselves as the mailers of the email and to provide appropriate opt-out mechanisms. You should direct your opt-out request to the list owner to be removed from a third-party list. If you have trouble opting out of a third-party list, or if you wish to make us aware of any issues about a third-party mailing, you may contact us directly. Third-party mailings sent with a Paliwoda Group reply address will also include a notice with information about opting-out of future marketing communications from us.
Please contact us if you believe you have mistakenly received information after opting out, or if you would like to opt-out of receiving information but have been unable to use the opt-out mechanisms provided.
4. Account Access and Registration Updates
As a user of the Site with a registere account you may update your profile information at any time. To change this information, please login to your account as usual and follow the prompts to "update my profile." We strive to increase the scope of information that you may access and update. Most questions and issues about account access can be rapidly resolved; usually within 2 business days. More complex requests that require in-depth research may take more time, and we will contact you in such cases about the problem and with appropriate next steps.
We may use third parties to administer a limited set of advertisements on the Site. We do not directly provide data to advertisers as part of this process, but aggregate profile information, like user community, may be used when selecting advertising in order to improve its relevance to the targeted user. Some banner ads may contain an embedded pixel which, while not associated with a cookie or other personal profile information, may return session connection information that helps advertisers determine the number of individual users who have clicked on that ad.
We are concerned with the security of the data we collect, and have in place reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to that information. These measures include policies, procedures, and technical elements relating to controlling data access. In addition, we apply standard security protocols and data exchange mechanisms when transmitting sensitive data, like credit card details.
When individual personal data is acquired, or is reasonably believed to have been acquired, by an unauthorized person, and where applicable law requires notification, we will notify the affected individual of the breach by email; or, when unable make contact by email, by U.S. mail. Notice will be given promptly, consistent with the legitimate needs of law enforcement and any measures necessary for us or law enforcement to determine the scope of the breach, and to assure or restore the integrity of the data system. We may delay notification when we or a law enforcement agency determine that notification may impede a criminal investigation, unless and until we or the agency determine that notification would not compromise the investigation.

8. Policy Updates
We will notify you via email if we want to use your data in a manner that differs from the one stated at the time of collection. You may choose to accept or decline our request to use your data in this different manner. In addition, when we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user data already stored in our database, we will notify you by email or post a prominent notice on the Site alerting users of the change. In some cases where we post the notice we will also email users who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
We may update this policy periodically to describe how new features on the Site affect our use of your data, and to inform you of new control and preference features.
