To spur more entrepreneurship internally, we formed Paliwoda Labs -- a startup incubator -- to invest in great ideas, wherever they come from. The incubator’s goal is to accelerate development of services or products, and transfer them as they mature to new or existing Paliwoda Group divisions and member companies.

External investment opportunities are generally brought to us from Paliwoda Group members, affiliated organizations, and other partner institutions. We look for talented entrepreneurs and experienced management teams with vision and passion, who have developed technology and intellectual property that can add value to or complement existing Paliwoda Group business divisions, products and technologies.
We take pride in being an active partner, leveraging our experience, knowledge and relationships to help our entrepreneurs realize their vision. Enthusiastic entrepreneurs looking for guidance and feedback on taking their initiative to the next level have the opportunity to meet a member of our Ventures investment team.

Our disciplined investment strategy has been refined through more than 15 years of investment experience. Since business trends may change significantly in the time it takes to bring a product to market, we find it imperative to identify entrepreneurs with the ability to adapt to change, as well as strong leadership qualities, foresight, integrity and enthusiasm. Our entrepreneurs are key assets, and we look to invest in long-term relationships to build a true partnership.
Sectors of interest
We currently look to expand our reach in two ways:
- fast growing horizontal markets such as mobile applications and e-commerce, and
- Internet and mobile companies in three verticals – education, personalized medicine and energy conservation.
